Available Positions

While we do not have current job openings, openings can occur during the year. Having an application on file will help ensure consideration for an opening when it does occur.

We accept Commonwealth of Kentucky applications at any time, and we will keep them on file for six months. Applications will only be reviewed for any job opening that becomes available in the Jefferson County PVA office during that time. At the end of six months, the applications may be discarded. The applications do not become a part of the state system and if you wish them to do so, please submit a copy directly to the Personnel Cabinet in Frankfort. The Jefferson County PVA office can respond only to the status of an application submitted to this office.

Did you know?

KRS 133.045 dictates the appeal period to be the first Monday in May and to extend for two weeks thereafter. The assessments must be finalized before the tax rates are calculated. Learn more about the Appeals Process.
