More than 550 apartments could be built in the 1200 block of McCawley Road just north of Jefferson Mall in southern Jefferson County. Faulkner Real Estate, a large real estate investment and development company based in Louisville, has applied for new multi-family zoning on 53.7 acres near Jefferson Boulevard, that it has a contract to buy from Coxco Realty LLC.
