As part of program high school teachers will get first-hand look at auto plants
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Oct. 2, 2014) — Ford Motor Company and the United Automobile Workers will begin a national pilot program in Louisville that brings high school teachers into auto plants, allowing teachers to be better prepared to instruct students on real world scenarios, with a focus on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) careers.
The groups will announce the program at 8:15 a.m. on Oct. 8 at the Next Generation Learning Conference at the Seelback Hilton in Louisville, at 500 S. 4th St.
