Three separate storm systems expected through next Sunday. The first is late Monday night through late Tuesday. Looks to be snow for us with 1 to 3″ currently forecast. I do think there will be a narrow swath of higher amounts somewhere in the region, but confidence is low for now.

Next wave comes later Wednesday and Wednesday night and should be mostly rain. 1 to 2″ of rain expected plus any additional snowmelt.

Third, and possibly the strongest, wave arrives next Sat-Sun with another 1 to 2.5″ of rain possible.

Bottom line: threat for flash and river flooding goes up with each wave. Winter weather advisory and flood watches seem like a good bet this week. Winter Storm Warning is possible, but think it would probably be a bit south of Louisville if needed.
