Home sales up 4.3% in Jefferson County

Home sales increased 4.3 percent in Jefferson County and nearly 6 percent in the Louisville tri-county area in the first seven months of 2016, compared with the same period of the previous year.

Whitehouse, Ohio-based Devonshire REIT has submitted plans and renderings for a new 221,000-square-foot retail center on 31 acres off Bardstown Road near the Gene Snyder Freeway.

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development has awarded the Louisville Metro Housing Authority an additional $1 million Choice Neighborhoods Grant.
