LOUISVILLE, Ky. (March 23, 2015) — Hillerich & Bradsby announced today it is selling its Louisville Slugger brand to Wilson Sporting Goods for $70 million, Grace Schneider reports for the Courier-Journal.

Louisville area home sales up 6.3 percent in February 2015 over February 2014

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (March 17, 2015) — The Greater Louisville Association of Realtors (GLAR) reported that year-to-date sales are up 6.3 percent, with 1,732 homes and condos sold versus 1,629 at the same point last year.

Frankfort, Ky. (March 4, 2015) – The Kentucky Environmental Quality Commission (EQC) is seeking nominations for its annual Earth Day award.
The commission recognizes individuals and entities for efforts to protect the environment and honors them during a ceremony in Frankfort each year during the month of April.
State offering tax credits to small business owners
Businesses could qualify for up to $25,000
FRANKFORT, Ky. (Feb. 25, 2015) — Small Business owners in Kentucky are eligible for up to $25,000 in tax credits through the Kentucky Small Business Tax Credit program.
To qualify for tax credits ranging from $3,500 to $25,000 a small business has to create and maintain at least one qualifying job and purchase $5,000 or more in qualifying equipment.
