PVA ONLINE CONFERENCES ARE TENTATIVELY SCHEDULED TO OPEN AT NOON ON APRIL 21st, 2017.

Under state law (KRS 133.120) property owners who wish to contest their assessment must first hold a conference with the PVA Office during the annual Open Inspection Period (OIP). Each year the OIP begins on the first Monday in May and continues for a thirteen day period including two Saturdays.

This year’s OIP will began on May 1, 2017 and closed on May 15, 2017. Due to the size of Jefferson County, the PVA Online Conference period begins April 21, 2017. The last day to submit an online conference to the PVA Office is May 15, 2017 by 4:00 p.m. EDT. By law, the PVA Office is not authorized to accept conferences via personal visits to our office or online conference submissions after May 15, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. EDT.
