UPDATE- Our office reopened January 4, 2021.
The office of the Jefferson County PVA is temporarily closed due to an emergency cybersecurity concern. We are working to restore operations as quickly as possible and anticipate reopening Monday January 4th.

We accept Commonwealth of Kentucky applications at any time, and we will keep them on file for six months. Applications will only be reviewed for any job opening that becomes available in the Jefferson County PVA office during that time.
DOR Sets 2021-2022 Homestead Exemption
FRANKFORT, Ky. (November 23, 2020) The Kentucky Department of Revenue (DOR) has set the maximum homestead exemption on real estate owned by qualified individuals at $40,500 for the 2021 and 2022 tax periods.
Satellite Cities are now listed as Home Rule Cities.
