Jefferson County Property Valuation Administrator, Tony Lindauer was sworn in as President of the Kentucky Chapter of the International Association of Assessing Officers (IAAO) at the Kentucky Revenue Cabinet’s annual Property Valuation Administrators Fall Conference at Louisville’s Seelbach Hotel.
The County Clerk’s Local board of Assessment appeals is being held July 15-July 26, 2013; if you have questions concerning your scheduled conference please contact the Jefferson County Clerk’s Office at (502)574-6915.
Richard Chin, Deputy of the Jefferson County Property Valuation Office was named “Outstanding Deputy of the Year,” at the Kentucky Property Valuation Administrator’s Association Summer Conference June 17-20 in Northern Kentucky.
The award is given annually to a “Deputy” who has made a significant contribution to their PVA office.
The period to file your online conference appeal for 2013 has ended. The 2013 appeal process was available from Monday April 8, 2013 thru Monday May 20, 2013 at 4:00p.m as provided for in KRS 133.045.
According to the Louisville Courier Journal, “Members of the Greater Louisville Association of Realtors sold 1,300 single-family homes in April, a 23 percent increase from a year earlier.
For the first four months of 2013, the group’s sales are up 16 percent from the same period last year.
