Airport plans $8 million makeover

The Louisville Regional Airport Authority plans the first major makeover in a decade of the Jerry E. Abramson Terminal, with work on tap costing up to $8 million.

The envisioned improvements are chiefly cosmetic upgrades that will include lighting and flooring as well as new escalators and artwork throughout the Louisville International Airport passenger terminal.
