The Jefferson County Board of Education has approved the 2017 tax rate that county property owners pay for schools, making a slight decrease in the tax rate that will nevertheless bring in more tax dollars to the state’s largest school district.
Homes sales in Louisville see double-digit increase

Year-to-date homes sales in Jefferson County have risen 13 percent, according to the most recent numbers released by the Greater Louisville Association of Realtors.
